Shalom Cares offers an abundance of happenings for residents, clients, family members, neighbors and friends.
Shalom Cares is holding two important events in the following month. On November 22nd, 2013 Shalom will host the Holiday Bazaar at Shalom Park Community Room. It is a free event and will share a festive holiday shopping and cultural experience. The next event will begin on November 27th and will last till December 4th. This will be celebration of Hanukkah and will be hosted by the Wellness Center.
Shalom Cares started in 1912 by Beth Israel Hospital and Home Society, founded by Bella Mintz in Denver. Years later, in 1992, Shalom Park in Aurora was designed to accomplish the idea of the perfect, mountain-view setting in the city. The facility was created for the Beth Israel Nourishing Home, and was renamed later as Shalom Park Nursing Home. Since 1996, Shalom Cares has provided apartment and patio homes that are built to provide the opportunity for independent living options. Recently, in-home and community-wide services were added including Shalom Hospice Care, Shalom Palliative Care, Shalom Home Health Care, Shalom Therapies, and the J. Leonard Levy Family Wellness Center.
In 2010, “Shalom Cares” was established as the main name to be common for all of the services and programs that are provided.
Now Shalom Cares is a non-profit organization that offers hospice care. As one of the best Nursing Homes in Denver. They provide care to any person in need. Its nursing homes offer private accommodations, responsible staff and friendly atmosphere.
