VestPac has also been building a lot of custom packs for search and rescue. VestPac has been designing a custom vest pack for all the tools rescuers need such as a radio holder, medical equipment and GPS devices along with everything else search and rescue needs to perform their job. Testing of these new packs has been done in conjunction with the Teton County Search and Rescue in Jackson Hole, WY. Next year a new camo pack will coming out in 2 models – green and tan camo color. These pack are geared to our current customers who have expressed a love for camo. We are working on a few hunting models but are still only in the R&D stage on those models. In the past year we have had a huge demand for new patterns and colors. The most common request has been for camouflage.
Up and coming trade shows and events – surf expo in Orlando, Florida, January 9 through the 11th of 2013. The goal here is to cater to paddleboarders. This is the largest gathering of stand-up paddle companies and enthusiasts. At this last year’s Battle of the Paddle event in September 28 – 29, 2013 VestPac emerged as the winning hydration pack among the top winning athletes for men and women.
Snow Show in Denver, Colorado Jan. 30 – February 2nd, 2013 is to cater to skiers, snowboarders, and everyone who needs to stay hydrated in the snow. VestPacs are the only hydration packs guaranteed not to freeze making them a hot item at the snow show.
