The brand new Mercedes-S63 has finally been revealed one month earlier than expected says the New York Motor Show. This new, fresh and exciting car is set to be on sale sometime in November 2014 for a staggering estimated price of $165,000.
This 4 seated addition has been created to replace the CL63 AMG from the top end line-up of the AMG range and is said to provide some tough competition for the Aston Martin Rapide and Bentley Continental GT.
Power is something this latest S63 will not be short of with a twin-turbocharged 5.5-litre V8 engine and a breath-taking 577bhp this car pumps out 40bhp more than the current CL63 model.
The power of this machine is funnelled through a box standard seven-speed AMG services speed shift auto gearbox. Furthermore with this new model the buyer will have a choice of the rear-wheel drive model or the 4matic four-wheel drive version.
Mercedes AMG services have also made astonishing claims that the overall weight reduction on this new S63 coupe model could be as much as 65kg in comparison to the previous model.
Mercedes have said the rear-wheel drive model of the S63 coupe will be able to hit 0mph to 62mph in the very little time of 4.3seconds and to add to the thrill of things this car has been suspected to only consume 27.4mpg which is a pleasing surprise for the climate.
Further to all these new and exciting improvements the S63 coupe is said to be coming with new features such as air suspension, Road surface scanner and active body control system. Option extra’s such as cornering tilt function which can automatically incline the body of the car to a 2.5 degree when speeds hit between 19 – 112mph are also said to be coming to the new coupe.
