Renowned plastic and reconstructive surgeon, Dr. Michael Desvigne, has joined Ciao Bella Medical Spa & Vein Clinic as its new plastic surgeon. Dr. Desvigne joins clinic director, Dr. Edgardo Zavala-Alarcon, to the provide state-of-the-art cosmetic surgery procedures patients receive at the clinic.
Dr. Michael Desvigne received his medical training as a member of the United States Air Force through the uniformed Services University of the Health Sciences. He left the Air Force after 12 years to practice plastic surgery in Arizona. Dr. Desvigne holds memberships in the American Society of Plastic Surgery, the American Society of Aesthetic Plastic Surgery, the Arizona Society of Plastic Surgeons and is a fellow of the American College of Surgeons.
Before joining Ciao Bella Medical Spa & Vein Clinic, Dr. Desvigne was much sought after as a speaker on advanced wound care and reconstruction throughout the United States and Canada. He is noted for advancing the use of local anesthesia in his surgical practice to minimize exposing his patients to the risks associated with general anesthesia.
