The YPR Cares Guatemala mission was taken in the fall of 2013 by successful Vemma Affiliates who wanted to give back and help those in need.
Judging for the Videographer Awards was conducted by the Association of Marketing and Communication Professionals (AMCP), a prestigious evaluator of creative work which has been judging competitions for 20 years. The Award of Distinction is given to projects that exceed industry standards by one of the oldest and most respected awards programs in the marketing and communications field.
The “#YPR Cares Guatemala” video features the next generation of entrepreneurial leaders whose goal is to empower young, aspiring professionals and help others build a strong skill set they will carry through life. These humanitarians aim to add value to people… and the planet.

“The YPR — it’s about people helping people, young people helping young people. That’s what’s so cool about this opportunity. That you can give back and make a difference in others,” explains Brad Alkazin.
“This trip’s been remarkable, to say the least. Just to come down here and give them a little bit and just to see the change that it’s going to make in these people’s lives is really remarkable,” says Case Morton.

”Down here, you can take a family and put them in a house you built with your own hands, and these people are not in the dirt anymore; they’re on beds and they have shelter from the rain. It’s just incredible what we can do if we come together,” says Luke Wilborn.
