(Newswire.net — October 10, 2014) Ardmore, Pennsylvania –When asked what is the largest benefit of a career in eduction, many teachers will answer that after the satisfaction of teaching young people. However, the second most rewarding facet of their career is often the broad ability to travel. Relatively lengthy breaks between semesters and school years allow teachers extra time to plan and enjoy vacations to attractive and exotic places, including those located abroad. GEEO, or Global Education for Educators Organization offers teachers inexpensive international trips while encouraging them to experience a foreign culture as much as possible. During the 2015 spring break period, GEEO will coordinate teacher trips to the country of Morocco.

While educators usually enjoy longer periods of time away from work than other professionals, they also often struggle with modest salaries. This is one reason GEEO offers discounted teacher travel as seen at http://www.geeo.org/mission/. However, another reason to ensure the participant will have the challenging experience of staying in rustic guest houses and hotels, meant for budget travelers. The spring break trip to Morocco includes an eight day, seven night tour of seven cities, including Casablanca and Marrakech..

Teacher travel opportunities for teachers as seen at http://www.geeo.org/share-your-adventure/ GEEO believes this kind of up-close experience is the best way for an educator to develop experiences to share with their students. As GEEO states, teachers enjoy great influence of an outward-looking population, which is necessary for a student’s future success in the 21st century workplace. For this reason, teachers are required to develop a 20-minute long presentation for their students after their return from Morocco.

As part of GEEO’S discounted teacher travel as seen at http://www.geeo.org/lessonplans/, the program includes some package deals such as all breakfasts. However, participating teachers are encouraged to venture out on their own to buy food for their lunches or dinners, or to dine at a local cafe. During the trip, teachers are encouraged to focus on Morrocco’s past, current situation and future outlook. As part of a discounted trip, participants are encouraged to bring their own cameras and take many pictures to share with their students.
