Myco’s Wanted Medical Equipment for Charity

(Newswire.net — October 24, 2014) Lake Tapps, WA — Myco Instrumentation is recognized as a leader in buying and selling quality medical equipment all over the world. Microscopes have not been part of Myco’s used medical equipment trade, until now. Through the end of 2014, Myco Instrumentation will be collecting used microscopes as donations to assist Engineering World Health in educating medical students in developing countries about medical technology.

As a laboratory equipment supplier, Myco Instrumentation is uniquely qualified to collect, evaluate and assist in the distribution of used microscopes for this program. The microscopes will be distributed through Engineering World Health to guest instructors around the world who will train students on basic medical equipment maintenance and medical electronics.

Myco Instrumentation is very proud to be part of this growing endeavor, which is designed to establish a strong foundation for health care in developing countries around the world. Many of these countries have people who are willing to perform the basic medical research and tasks that can bring better health to their citizens, but they lack the necessary equipment for training. Through this program, Myco hopes to get the equipment that trained biomedical technicians need to train students and help bring better health care to the rest of the world.

Since Myco Instrumentation is already set up to accept wanted medical equipment from interested donors, this affiliation with Engineering World Health was an excellent opportunity for Myco to do its part to help bring health care to people who need it. You can read more about Engineering World Health at its website, which is located at www.EWH.org.

Myco Instrumentation is accepting these microscopes as donations only. These are not part of Myco’s normal trade, so the company will not be purchasing or selling the microscopes. All donated microscopes should be in good working condition.

Any person or company interested in donating microscopes can contact Bonnie Stafford at Myco Instrumentation at 800-414-7169. She will provide details about the program and give you the address where you can send your donated items.
