Dr. Douglas Benting is a renowned prosthodontist in Arizona and recently completed a three-year term as the Division Director for Private Practice and Patient Care for the Board of Directors for the American College of Prosthodontists. During his tenure, Dr. Benting served in several important capacities including publication of material and work with the Department of Labor’s Bureau of Labor Statistics.
The ACP Board of Directors recently met in New Orleans in advance of their annual meeting. As part of his position as Director, Dr. Benting was involved with the publication of materials related to private practice prosthodontics in the Journal of Prosthodontics. Dr. Benting graduated from the University of Minnesota School of Dentistry in 1999 with distinction. He later earned his Master of Science in Dentistry in 2002. Until 2006, when he moved to Arizona to engage in private practice, he was a faculty member at the University.
Today, Dr. Benting practices as a board-certified prosthodontist and a Diplomate of the American Board of Prosthodontics in Arizona. Besides his work on the Board of Directors of the American College of Prosthodontists (ACP) and his work with the Arizona section of the ACP, Dr. Benting is also a member of the American Dental Association (ADA) and the Arizona Dental Association.
