Drug Treatment Center in Malibu, SOBA Recovery, sponsored the largest fundraiser of the year for Non Profit MCLE, Malibu Community Labor Exchange at Pepperdine University on November 16, 2014.
This event, showcased the critically acclaimed and Best Motion Picture Award Winning film “The Wisdom to Know the Difference“, written by, directed and starring SOBA alumni Daniel Baldwin.
“Wisdom”, as it is affectionately referred, is a bold film about about addiction and change and also stars Billy Baldwin, Lou Diamond Phillips and Mayra Leal, who also attended the screening with Daniel Baldwin.
After a cordial sharing of personal moments, with Daniel Baldwin and co-star Mayra Leal, Greg Hannley, CEO of SOBA Malibu Rehab Center and Executive Producer of Wisdom, presented the MCLE with a check for $10,000 to assist the MCLE with its much needed work in Malibu.

Fellmann, MCLE board member had the following to say in a letter to the editor of the Malibu Times Newspaper “…We especially want to thank Daniel Baldwin and Mayra Leal for touching our lives with their personal stories.
