New Summer TV Shows Provide a Great Way to Beat the Heat

(Newswire.net — June 2, 2015) –It may be the end of the season for some of your regular favorites, but this summer is full of hot new shows along with some returning series and even some juicy documentaries to get your teeth into. Here is a breakdown of the new TV shows to keep an eye out for this summer.

May

Fox sees the return of the hit series MasterChef where amateur cooks battle it out for the MasterChef title. Fox is also bringing in a new series of family favorite Are You Smarter Thank a 5th Grader.

If talent shows are your thing you will be pleased to know that Americas Got Talent is back on NBC and So You Think You Can Dance is back with a new dancing twist this summer.

June

Watch out for the new series of saucy hit show Devious Maids in June on Lifetime as well as Pretty Little Liars on ABC Family. Mistresses is also premiering a new season of their long running hit show on ABC.

There are some more children’s TV favorites returning like Melissa & Joey on ABC Family followed by Baby Daddy on the same network.

Netflix is excited to be premiering another breakthrough series. June sees the launch of Sense8 an exciting new science fiction series. Orange Is the New Black is also back this month and you won’t believe the new plot stories they have come up with this time.

MTV is turning up the temperature with a brand new show Nick Cannot Presents: Wild n Out on MTV2 and Girl Code is back again. The popular Teen Wolf is returning too.

Under The Dome is also back on CBS with their 4th season of the hit Stephen King based series. Hannibal is also due to return to NBC for a much anticipated new season this month. The Syfy channel are also showcasing 2 new seasons of Defiance and Dark Matter.

July

July is a bit of a quieter month for new series although E! is showing an exclusive documentary about Bruce Jenner’s sex change. Titled The Bruce Jenner Project, this one should not be missed.

Teen Mom 2 and Catfish are both coming back for a new summer season on MTV and a new show One Bad Choice is premiering on there too.

Magic fans will be pleased with the lineup of Masters of Illusion on The CW and Penn & Tellers: Fool Us on the same network.

VH1 is due to show a comeback series of Candidly Nicole, a reality documentary on Nicole Richey. Dating Naked also returns to VH1 for another season of the raunchy exposed dating show.

August

Again August is another quiet month in terms of new seasons. NBC launches a brand new comedy show called Mr Robinson. From the producers of the office this new show looks set for success. Based on a substitute teacher trying to juggle his music career with making a living at the same time.

Americas Next Top Model returns to the CW with Tyra bringing some new flair to the show’s 22nd season.

There is plenty to look forward to this summer on TV so while the weather is hot outside you can chill every night in front of the TV with a host of hit shows.
