Also, the number of home closings increased almost 40% from the previous month and is also up 4.2% from 2014. Over the past month, however, new listings dramatically declined with a drop of over 11% and only 191 homes being placed on the market. This decrease in listings corresponds with significantly fewer new contracts for the month.
