(Newswire.net — August 10, 2015) –The Baja racing fans were treated to an exhilarating racing show on August 1-2. Unlike other off-road racing, this event was watched from comfortable stands, which were filled to the capacity. And in which vendors would come by between events selling cold beer.

This Lucas Oil Off Road Racing event took place in Ensenada, Baja California, Mexico. Ensenada is the certainly the capitol off road of racing with many races during the year.

The event kicked off with the Pro 2 class who give an epic and unforgettable experience. In an exciting battle familiar names such as Bryce Menzies and Brian Deegan were also notable in the battle, but none of them made it to the podium after the an amazing battle. RJ Anderson rose to the occasion to fend off a fierce challenge from Rob Maccachren who finished second and Robby Woods in the Third position.

The Pro 4 the contest was exceptional just like in the Pro 2. The battle was also full of excitement. Kyle LeDuc took the checkered flag, with Rob Macchren next followed by  Bryce Menzies.

In Pro Buggy, Kevin McCullough won a wild, entertaining race. Mike Valentine second and Darren Hardesty third.

In the Pro Lite class: R.J. Anderson the winner, Brandon Arthur, second and Casey Currie third.

The attendees enjoy watching the thrilling and exciting race from the seaside shores of Estero Beach, which is also home to the first class Estero Beach Resort. The Resort has a number of pools and outdoor spas. also a full service spa. It beachfront restaurant has a spectacular view of the ocean, the bay with the backdrop of Punta Banda Mountains. I must note, the Sunday Brunch is great and reasonable however, reservations are recommended,

The event was full a lot of excitement as fans cheered the exhilarating race with the roar of the engines and which vehicles would go airborne over the jumps, slide sideways around turns and often bumped during passing with parts of the vehicle flying in the air. Incredible drivers battled it out on the course, very exciting.

Though there was a few thousand attending, I must comment it was very well organized. No long lines, many friendly security personnel, plenty of parking close by, and a party atmosphere.

The event is part of a series off the road racing series presented by Lucas Oil. The racing season begun in March 20-21, and the final event will be on October 24-25. The races are staged at venues in California, Nevada and Utah. This Ensenada event was deemed to be the best of the short course races and it didn’t disappoint. Very exciting!

The Lucas Oil Off Road racing event was a wonderful experience for the drivers, crews and organizers as well as their local supporters in Ensenada the many Americans who drove down for the excitement (one and one half hour drive fro US border). It provides an exceptional and thrilling time in Ensenada, which has been popular with the long desert races for many years. The short racing event help in bringing a new treat to the residents and those that traveled from the US who love for this sport is unmatchable excitement. Be there next year. I’ll be back
