GEEO Unveils New Spring Travel Programs

(Newswire.net — February 26, 2016) Ardmore, California — GEEO (Global Exploration For Educators Organization) introduces two new travel programs for educators this spring. Set to take place in the latter part of March 2016, these programs are part of a comprehensive set of travel offerings that include destinations such as Bali and Lombok, Bangkok to Hanoi, China, Costa Rica, Eastern Europe, Ethiopia, Galapagos, Greece, Iceland, India/Nepal, Ireland, and Israel.

The two programs schedule for spring will bring teachers and educators to Moorish Spain and Morocco. The Moorish Spain program will run from March 13 to March 20, and will cost participants $1,799 each. The Morocco program will last from March 19 to March 26, and will cost each participant $1,424.

GEEO (https://geeo.org/) is a non-profit organization founded in 2007 with the goal of providing teachers and educators the opportunity to travel to destinations around the world. With these programs, the nonprofit hopes to encourage teachers to develop fresh perspectives that will enable them to provide more creative and higher quality instruction to their students when they return to the classroom setting. In this way, GEEO hopes to play a role in the improvement of the quality of education that students receive, and to uplift educational standards in general as well.

GEEO’s travel programs are intended for educators and teachers of all subjects and at all levels. Every year, up to 400 teachers are provided with the opportunity to travel to select destinations around the world. Although focused primarily on teachers and educators from the United States, teachers from other countries may participate in the programs as well. To date, the organization has sent more than 1,300 educators to various countries around the globe.
