(Newswire.net — March 15, 2016) Vermont, South Australia — The airline British Airways has begun to embrace a new type of in-flight entertainment with their introduction of hypnotherapy courses to their flights in order to help improve health and wellbeing. The airline has teamed up with hypnotherapist Mark Bowden to offer a series of five, 30-minute courses on its Business Class only service between London City Airport and New York JFK. The programs will teach passengers courses on weight loss, smoking cessation, how to give up alcohol, eating more fruits and vegetables, and developing a more positive attitude.

According to Furturetravelexperience.com, the five courses are geared to helping passengers tune in and switch off in a way that enables them to both relax and focus at the same time. The introduction of the in-flight hypnotherapy comes just weeks after a report was filed on airlines are increasingly turning to alternate forms of inflight entertainment. British Airways has always been dedicated to the wellbeing of their passengers, and has also recently trialed what they dubbed a “happiness blanket.”

While it may just be one of many changes to in-flight entertainment, it is evident that hypnotherapy has made its mark on the airlines by changing people’s lives.

“Our Aim with our corporate work that we do is to help the staff of an organization to reach their full potential in the chosen profession,” says Katherine Tassioulas, the creator of the Australasian Institute of Health & Healing, which uses hypnotherapy to treat bad habits. “We support all elements of organizational development.
