(Newswire.net — March 31, 2016) Sugar Land, TX — Lanny Wolfe, founder and tenor of the Lanny Wolfe Trio, will be releasing his DVD TV specials alongside his albums on YouTube. Wolfe recently made the announcement in response to overwhelming requests from his many fans from all over the world. With the availability of the well-loved specials on YouTube, Wolfe hopes not only to provide fans with easier access to his music,  ministry, and guest TV appearances, but also to bring his music to a wider global audience.

Wolfe is a respected Christian music singer, songwriter, musician, recording artist, music publisher, and music teacher. A multi-awarded singer-songwriter, Wolfe is has composed 14 musicals and over 700 songs, including “More Than Wonderful”, for which he won two GMA Dove Awards for Song of the Year, and Songwriter of the Year in 1984. The song was recorded by Sandi Patti and Larnelle Harris, earning them a Grammy Award.

Wolfe is also the composer of the Christmas song “Rejoice with Exceeding Great Joy”, which continues to be a popular addition to holiday playlists around the world to this day and included in the Disney Epcot Center yearly Candle lighting Service.  Wolfe’s “Greater Is He That Is In Me” was the official closing song for the Oral Roberts Telecast for six years. His song “Surely The Presence Of The Lord Is In This Place” appears in numerous hymnals and has been cherished by the church community all over the world. Prior to winning the GMA Dove Awards, Wolfe was also the recipient of SESAC’s Gospel Composer of The Year award for two consecutive years (1975 to 1976). In 1977, the Trio won Billboard’s Magazine Award of the Year for Top Contemporary Trio.

For Wolfe, the release of his music on YouTube is merely another step in a long and colorful career that spans over four decades. A remarkably diverse and versatile performer and recording artist, Wolfe has touched on numerous styles throughout his lengthy career. In the relatively narrow fields of gospel music and Christian music with which he is most closely identified, Wolfe brings a joyous and vibrant approach that makes his music virtually timeless and universally appealing. Although much of his work draws heavily on the mellow “symphonic pop” music style popular in the 1970s, Wolfe has been known to incorporate more upbeat touches on occasion, even pulling off a very respectable James Brown in his own rendition of “I Feel Good”.

Even today, Wolfe’s songwriting and musical artistry continues to shine amidst the present-day worship music genre. As he comes closer to marking his 50th year in the music industry, Wolfe remains committed to spreading his message and his music in the way that he knows best.

The content will be released on YouTube periodically over the next couple of weeks. To subscribe to the channel, please visit https://www.youtube.com/user/LannyWolfeMusic.
