Romance Readers Anticipate Passion in Portland 2016 Anthology

(Newswire.net — May 31, 2016) Portland , Oregon —The romance novel writers attending the “Passion in Portland 2016 – Romance Author Signing Event” wanted to do more to support Bradley Angle, a non-profit organization that helps survivors of domestic violence, so they’ve written 20 romance novellas and are publishing them as an anthology, with all the proceeds going to fund programs at the local charity.

 Organizers hope to build on the success of the inaugural signing event held on September 12^th, 2015. 54 authors joined over two hundred romance readers and volunteers to celebrate the books they love to write and read, raising hundreds of dollars for the charity. “If we can double last year’s attendance, it will be the northwest’s largest romance novel event and that means we can help more survivors of intimate partner abuse,” explained Harmon. “At this moment, sixty authors have committed to be at the Passion in Portland 2016 – Romance Author Signing Event and twenty of those talented authors are donating their work to the anthology. It’s sad that we had to turn some authors away, as we just couldn’t fit one more page in the paperback. Next year, maybe we’ll have to do two,” joked AJ.  

 The Passion in Portland 2016 Anthology – Collector’s Paperback Edition is available for just $35 (if pre-ordered by July 31st) or for $45 if purchased at the Passion in Portland 2016 – Romance Author Signing Event on September 10^th, 2016, where readers can have their physical copy autographed by the writers for their romance book collections. However, the number of paperbacks for sale at the event will be limited to supply on hand. Romance readers from all over the world will be able to download the digital version from Amazon Kindle for only $.99 (less than a nickel per story) or read it for free by using the Kindle Unlimited program.
