The first, and perhaps most damaging pitfall women may fall into when dating is discussing long-term goals too early in the dating process. Having future plans in mind early on is a good thing, but many men prefer taking things slowly without expectations and can be put off by talk of long-term commitments. A relationship should be allowed to develop naturally.
