(Newswire.net — November 5, 2016) — Cyber bullying is on the rise in US and Melania Trump has pledged, that if her husband gets elected, she will fight it with all her power as the First Lady.

Speaking at a rally in Pennsylvania, Melania Trump said her focus will be on women and children. She also promised to fight online bullying.

“As adults, many of us are able to handle mean words, even lies. Children and teenagers can be fragile. Our culture has gotten too mean,” Melania Trump said.

The First lady candidate said it is “absolutely unacceptable” when children are mocked, bullied and attacked online anonymously.

Saying it would be an “honor and privilege”, the former Slovenian model praised her husband Donald Trump saying he would make a “fantastic president.”

Being the mother of a 10 year old child, Melania said she understands the problems mothers and children have today, in a world of modern technology. In what is characterized in the media as a “mostly original” speech, she tried to persuade Americans to vote for her billionaire husband next Tuesday.

“This is not an ordinary campaign,” she said. “It is a movement, in which people feel included, inspired and involved.”

Stressing that her husband loves America, Melania focused on Trump being a nominee for the neglected, despite Trump’s frequent blunders about illegal aliens and women.

“Donald promised to campaign on behalf of those who feel the system is broken and does not work for them, those who just want a fair shake, an opportunity for a better education, a better-paying job, a better future,” Melania said.

Going down memory lane, Melania recalls dreaming about America while growing up in Slovenia, one of the six republics of former Yugoslavia. She said how proud she was when she received her US citizenship, earning cheers from the crowd.

“American meant, if you could dream it, you could become it,” Melania said. The quote is very similar though to what Marla Maples said in an interview in 2011, where she discussed her youth saying “I believed if you could dream it, you could become it.”
