(Newswire.net — November 8, 2016) — While the Republican and Democratic presidential nominee’s are in the spotlight and have all the media attention, dividing America between those who hate Hillary and those who hate Trump, let’s not forget there are other options hated by no-one.

According to Politico, 24 percent of voters in Utah support former CIA operations officer Evan McMullin who will be an option in 11 states. Green Party’s Jill Stein made it to the ballot in over 40 states, while Libertarian Party candidate Gary Johnson is on the ballot in all 50 states including DC.

As the best-placed of all the third party candidates, the former two-term governor of New Mexico, Gary Johnson, is riding the wave of Mr Trump’s Latino phobic statements and has gained massive popularity across the US.

That popularity, however, melted away after September 8th when he was asked to comment on the Aleppo crisis. “And what is Aleppo?” is the reply that will echo in the media long after this election is over.

In what is left of Johnson’s campaign has reporters focusing on catching him out again. After he failed to name a favorite foreign leader and not knowing who the leader of North Korea is, Johnson lost the chance to get closer to the Oval office. However, he is still better ranked than the other third-party candidates.

The Green’s Jill Stein had the misfortune that her “first woman president” edge was ‘stolen’ by Hillary Clinton. She tried to grab the media attention by calling Trump “pro-fascist” and Hillary a “corruption queen”, but voters heard nothing new.

Although she demonstrated that she does have the claws to fight, Jill Stein didn’t really stand a chance comparing to what the Republican and the Democrat candidates are prepared to say and do to win the elections. But Stein won’t give up. The Greens are on the ballot in 44 states.

The Constitution Party’s Darrell Castle is a Vietnam veteran-turned-lawyer candidate who believes that all the answers lay in the US Constitution. Castle sparked attention after he claimed that the “ideas of America are not compatible with membership in the United Nations.” He proposes withdrawing from the UN, “an affront to liberty and human dignity,” failing, however, to understand that the UN’s greatest influence is the United States. He is on the ballot in 43 states.

Former CIA operations officer Evan McMullin does not represent any party in particular, and he has focused mostly on voters in Utah, his home state. McMullin has also built his campaign on defending the Constitution, which has gained speed thanks to the “Never Trump” faction of the GOP scandalized by the Republican nominee.

According to analysts McMullin represents the core of the Republican Party opposing Trump’s controversial stances.
