Sunday Jan.1 – Are you hung-over?

(Newswire.net — January 1, 2017) Darien, CONNECTICUT — Another New Years Day headache! Maybe you had too much to drink last night. Then again maybe you had nothing at all to drink. Either way a headache is a painful event you could do without. First of all, if you are in any way shape or form human you will want to brush your teeth. Then if you had too much to drink put a few ounces of cider vinegar into a quart of water and drink it down. You may want to repeat this a few times this morning. The electrolytes in the cider vinegar will replenish the electrolytes lost due to your being over served the night before. You may try Gatorade as well but the cider vinegar has no glucose giving the over worked and under appreciated liver a break. The water will re-hydrate your brain which right now is angry at you for not drinking in moderation on New Years.

Your liver is this big filter. The more toxins you poured through this filter will determine how dehydrated you are. Your body doesn’t have a way to store alcohol, so it has to move alcohol to the front of the metabolizing line. This is why it affects your liver, as it’s your liver’s job to detoxify and remove alcohol from your blood. Greater levels of fluids are required to get the garbage out through the process of urination which is why you are one thirsty puppy right now.

Next best thing to do is eat some protein and fat. A bacon, egg and cheese will sound real good after you get the cider vinegar and water into your system. I am sure you can get some delivered by Seamless. Tip heavier then usual, the guy delivering your food was not out the night before misbehaving like you. Remember you earned this headache.

There is no fun being hungover so you might as well watch something funny on TV. Before you lye down, pull the curtains down. Make the room nice and dark. Take the house phone off the hook. Make sure your cell phone is charged. Now get comfortable and take a nap. You probably won’t get quality REM sleep but you will recharge those drained batteries. When you wake up hit the cider vinegar again and take a long shower. In a few hours you will almost be human again. Try not to be over-served again or at least wait until next week. Have a Healthy Happy New Year.
