(Newswire.net — March 7, 2017) — Mind Lab Pro, the Universal Nootropic, is now accepting applications for its first annual Natural Academics Scholarship, which will award two students $2,500 each. This scholarship was created to recognize and support students who have pledged to “just say no” to the nonmedical use of prescription stimulant drugs as academic performance-enhancers.
When used as intended, stimulant drugs effectively help individuals with doctor-diagnosed attention problems — but these drugs are also increasingly abused by students as “Academic Steroids.” Notably, some of these drugs are schedule II substances identified by the DEA as having a high potential for abuse and dependency. Some of these drugs may also carry short-term side effects and/or long-term health risks.
Mind Lab Pro’s Natural Academics Scholarship was created to bring awareness to prescription stimulant drug abuse among students, instead promoting safe, natural strategies to improve mental performance. To apply, students are asked to write an essay on topics including how brainpower affects their academic life, their ethical stance on study drugs, and why they have made a personal decision to avoid prescription stimulants and adhere to natural academics.

To be eligible for the scholarship, students must maintain a 3.5 GPA or better. The scholarship is open to incoming freshman, undergraduate or graduate students.
