(Newswire.net — May 5, 2017) Buffalo, WY –Arthur Marshall, a former professional football player in the National Football League for the Denver Broncos and New York Giants, has been working with Hollywood and entertainment industry professionals in New York and Atlanta putting together a solid team of producers and writers to bring many projects to the market in 2017. Arthur had a long history with American football and was a widely-known player during his time. He started playing football early in his life and even played high school football for Hephzibah High, a high school in Hephzibah, Georgia where his high school football number was retired due to his stellar play on the football field. Before joining the National Football League, Arthur played college football at the University of Georgia. He was a stretch-the-field kind of wide receiver from during his college years. During his senior season, he hauled in 39 receptions for 524 yards. Arthur also returned kickoffs for Georgia, having returned the ball 15 times for 347 yards averaging 23.1 per return.
As a Denver rookie, he had solid numbers for a no. 2 wide receiver, having 26 catches for 493 yards and a touchdown. The Broncos finished that season at 8-8, with Arthur handling the return duties for the team. He garnered a total of 33 punt returns for 349 yards and averaged 10.6 yards per return. His longest punt return that year was 47 yards. Arthur was the only unanimous selection for the NFL All-Rookie team and widely regarded as the NFL Rookie of the Year.
While playing against the Dallas Cowboys, Arthur threw an 81-yard touchdown pass to his teammate Cedric Tillman. This tied a record for the longest pass completion by a non-quarterback in the history of NFL. The record was previously held by Gary Hammond, and has since been equaled by punter Josh Miller of Pittsburgh Steelers in 2003.
After playing two seasons with the Broncos, Arthur joined his former Georgia Bulldogs teammate, Rodney Hampton on the New York Giants in a trade made by Denver in exchange for a seventh-round draft choice. His new team then finished at 9-7 in the same year.
