The Center Announces New Physician Assistant

(Newswire.net — May 18, 2017) Bend, Oregon — The Center Orthopedic & Neurosurgical Care & Research is pleased to announce the addition of Scott Fleck, PA-C to its orthopedic team. Scott’s diverse background includes emergency medicine, teaching resident physicians, physician assistant, and nurse practitioner students, and surgical assisting for plastic and reconstructive medicine. He worked in Urgent Care at Bend Memorial Clinic for two years and was the medical supervisor for the BMC Mt. Bachelor Clinic. He also served six years as Chief PA of Emergency Medicine at Legacy Emanuel Hospital. Prior to becoming a PA, Scott was a paramedic in New York and a flight paramedic for Mercy Flight for four years.

Scott received his medical education at Hudson Valley/Albany Medical College in Albany, New York. He is board certified by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants and a member of the National Association of Physician Assistants. He will be working closely with the sports medicine orthopedic surgeons and looks forward to practicing at The Center with an esteemed group of highly-trained colleagues with long-standing ties to the community.
