Brain Health Benefits From Chiropractic Care and Better Sleep

 Let’s focus on the sleep aspect of brain health. Only recently have we become aware that during sleep the brain actually goes through a cleansing process. The term glymphatic has been applied because it mimics the lymphatic system by acting as an osmotic drain, and glia refers to the glial cells in the brain. While we sleep the neurons in the brain shrink creating a pumping action wherby cellular debris is removed and is pushed into the extra-cellular space.
