This Opidemic is Real!

  • Currently Utah has the 7th highest drug overdose rate in the USA.
  • 80% of Heroin users started with prescription Opioids.
  • 6 Utahns die every week of Opioid overdose.

Hope-idemic is Real!

  • 57,000 people have received help with their recovery in Utah this past year.
  • Thousands of those who are in Recovery spend hours every week helping other addiction sufferers.

The problem of opiates in our community is well documented and is covered regularly in the media.  The HOPE-idemic is shining the light on the solution to our opioid problem.  On September 5th, there will be treatment centers from across the State of Utah joining together to celebrating the solution.  Recovery is Real!  It is happening every day in our facilities and in open meetings.  We want the general public to be aware of the resources that are available to help with the opiate epidemic and presents examples of recovery.

Background: On the heels of the OPIDEMIC campaign we are launching the HOPE-idemic campaign.  Our state Health Dept. did a great job bringing much needed awareness to the problem of opiate addiction in Utah.  The HOPE-idemic campaign celebrates the solution and let’s our community know that there is help and healing taking place.  We will present free resources for families and endeavor to instill hope by showing people that it is possible to recover from opiate addiction.

HOPE-idemic-a new epidemic sweeping the nation offering Hope where hope has been lost

Hope is defined as: a desire for something accompanied by a trust or a belief that it will come to pass. –

With today’s headlines about the current Opiate Epidemic along with its destruction and devastation it seems like there is a lack of hope.   As a society, we have become hopeless.  Many of us have been so beat down by addiction that there literally seems like there is no hope for recovery.

In the middle of this darkness and despair there is a light breaking through.  There is hope on the horizon in the form of “the HOPE-idemic” Offering hope for the hopeless.

Where is this hope coming from?  Ironically it comes from those who were once “Hopeless”.  It is coming from addicts who have somehow beat the odds and received the gift of sobriety.  We believe these men and women were preserved for a purpose and part of that purpose is to carry the message of recovery.  At Renaissance Ranch Treatment Centers, and in addiction treatment facilities all over the State, people are getting help.

Recovery is Real- Restoring peace to the individual. Rebuilding trust in families. Healing the sick, the afflicted and the addicted.

The HOPE-idemic is shining the light on the solution and celebrating sobriety and recovery.  Recovery from addiction is happening every day all across our great State.

At the Ranch those suffering from chemical addiction can get treatment for their disease using evidence based modalities and spiritual principles to heal the addict from the inside out.

Addiction is a family disease and at Renaissance Ranch Treatment centers we can treat the entire family. Renaissance Ranch is an addictions recovery program that treats the entire family because addiction is a family disease.  We know that family support is essential to the success of our clients.  The disease of addiction affects all members of the family.   Our philosophy is centered on looking at the family as a system.   If the family system does not change and the family members do not do their recovery work, the same dysfunctional styles of communication and interaction pose a threat to the sobriety of all members of the family.   Our Family Program meets weekly and focuses on the Family Systems Model along with the work of Virginia Satir.  It is also consistent with the Al-Anon program’s approach and explanation of the family disease model. Topics discussed  include but are not limited to the 12 StepsCodependencyShame, Character Defects, journaling, Bibliotherapy and Spirituality.   Many of our family groups are open to anyone in the community seeking education and support and are provided free of cost.   Families can make a difference by seeking help – not just for the alcoholic/addict – but for the entire family system.   There is hope.  For times and locations please Call now 1.855.736.7262.
