(Newswire.net — October 27, 2017) –”He touched me from behind from his wheelchair with his wife Barbara Bush by his side. He told me a dirty joke,” wrote Heather Lind in an Instagram post late on Tuesday, but by Wednesday morning, the post had been deleted.

The 34-year-old actress claims she was sexually assaulted by George Herbert Walker Bush in 2014, in Houston, Texas, during a photo shoot with the ex-US president for a promotional tour for the historical television show ”Washington’s Spies”, where Heather Lind starred in 2014.

The actress also said that Bush touched her a second time and that his wife Barbara rolled her eyes as if to say not again, and his security guard told her that she shouldn’t have stood next to him for the photo.

”President Bush would never – under any circumstance – intentionally cause anyone distress, and he most sincerely apologizes if his attempt at humour offended Ms. Lind,” a spokesman for the former president told Dilly Mail Online.

Linda’s Instagram post ended with the hashtag #MeToo, which was used for the first time by actress Alyssa Milano on Twitter on October 15th this year.

Ms Milano Twitted: “If you’ve been sexually harassed or assaulted write ‘me too’ as a reply to this tweet.”

The hashtag was tweeted nearly a million times in 48 hours. Some famous women and high-profile actors have also tweeted the words MeToo: Anna Paquin, who has starred in multiple films from the X-Men franchise, Debra Messing of Will & Grace and Laura Dreyfuss.

The cause for all this is an ongoing case of Hollywood movie producer Harvey Weinstein who faces allegations of sexual misconduct from more than two dozen women and three accusations of rape, over the past 10 years.

The investigation is ongoing, but the 65-year-old movie-mogul was kicked out of the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences.

Politician George HW Bush was mentioned in the sexual assault context for the first time. He served as the 41st President of the United States from 1989 to 1993. He was also the 43rd Vice President of the United States from 1981 to 1989. He has been married to Barbara Bush since 1945.

Now he is 93-years-old and has a form of Parkinson’s disease. The last time he appeared in public was at a humanitarian concert held for hurricane victims in the Caribbean, at the Reed Arena in Texas, on October 21. George HW Bush was on stage together with Barack Obama, George W. Bush, Bill Clinton, George HW Bush and Jimmy Carter.
