Amateur trekkers may find it difficult to hike up this trail since it takes at least two days to complete it.

 

Tadiyandamol, Coorg

Located 1748m above sea level, this peak is carpeted in lush greenery from head to toe. It is an ideal trail for amateur and seasoned trekkers alike, all year long. Utilize that perfect weekend to visit this destination and get away from the noisy chaos of the city. While Tadiyandamol provides great opportunities for sightseeing, trekking, and other activities, it also happens to be the highest peak in the district of Kodagu. The ideal time to go trekking up these slopes is between the months of November to February. With a gorgeous winding path of 8km that stretches across the green slopes, Tadiyandamol is at a distance of 264km from Bangalore.

Kodachadri, Shimoga

Located at a distance of 278km from Bangalore, the Kodachadri peak is at an altitude of 1343m. A top favorite amongst the trekking community, this peak is also home to the Mookambika temple, an important pilgrimage site. Kodachadri is surrounded by lush green forests and makes for an interesting hiking trail. 14 km long, the trail winds through forests, glistening waterfalls, and a misty peak with a view that will leave you feeling awestruck. The trek will pass through the gorgeous Hidlumane falls, the Arasinagundi falls, and showcase spots for activities such as high rope traversing, jarring and more. November to February is the ideal time to go on this trek.
