(Newswire.net — October 11, 2016) — The second presidential debate did go in a similar way to the first one. However, the highlights did include Trump responding to the recent recording in which he talked about women and Clinton put an emphasis on the shady character of the Republican candidate. In addition, we saw Hillary Clinton taking responsibility of having used her personal email account, leading to the information leak that appeared.
According to Israel News Online, Donald Trump officially repelled sexual offenses accusations. Then, he started to attack the democratic nominee about different recent events, like those highlighted from the hacked emails. He went on to say that in the event he will be elected as president of the United States, he will instruct the attorney general to start a special investigation about the affairs that Clinton had because of the fact that there were many lies mentioned. He went on to put an emphasis on this when Clinton declared that it is “awfully good that someone with the temperament of Donald Trump is not in charge of the law in our country”. He said that Clinton would be in jail if this was the case.
Clinton admitted during the debate that the personal email account use was a huge mistake. She does take responsibility but then went on to add that accusations were misleading. That was because there was no real evidence of the fact that there was a hack that happened or that there were classified materials that ended up in wrong hands. Trump then claimed that Hillary Clinton lies and did then complain to the debate hosts about the fact that they were not asking questions about the incriminating emails.
The start of the presidential debate saw the presidential candidates entering the auditorium and avoiding shaking hands. Trump was then asked about the recording in which he was speaking highly offensive things about women in general. His answer was that he was embarrassed by the recording but that he did have a lot of respect for women. His exact words were “nobody has more respect for women than I do.” The point was then repeated several times during the presidential debate.
One of the most important statements made during the debate saw Hillary Clinton coming in front. The mention was about the recording with Trump. She declared that she has thought a lot about the recording in the past 2 days. The big problem is that the Republican nominees that she saw in the past for the position of USA president were people that she did not agree with when referring to policies, principles and politics. However, she never questioned the desire to serve and do what is best for the country. With Donald Trump, she went on, everything is different.
As the race continues, Donald Trump starts to be attacked by various celebrities and public figures, including leading members of the Republican Party. This led to him losing popularity on a constant basis. Still, there is a long way to go to see who will become the United States President.
