(Newswire.net — October 26, 2019) — It turns out that the US government is not aware of the existence of other intelligent living beings.
The information comes from alarmist Edward Snowden, currently based in Russia, who is a former CIA and NSA deputy.
Until he decided to bring to light all the secrets of those agencies, Snowden had the opportunity to check if some of the many conspiracy theories were true – one of them was the alien one.
Snowden had the opportunity to search numerous databases for information to find out if the intelligence services were hiding a big secret. It turns out that the US government is not aware of the existence of some other intelligent living beings, CNN reports.
“For the record, as far as I could tell, aliens have never contacted Earth, or at least they haven’t contacted US intelligence,” Snowden wrote in his memoir.
Also, the moon landing really happened, Snowden wtote. “In case you were wondering: Yes, man really did land on the moon.”
Climate change is real. Chemtrails are not a thing,” Snowden said. Chemtrails, in conspiracy theory circles is the claim that planes leave behind chemical or biological agents intentionally dispersed across the sky for purposes undisclosed to the general public.
Edward Snowden told Joe Rogan in a podcast, aired on Wednesday, that there’s no evidence” of aliens and chemtrails and the like.
“I know, Joe, I know you want there to be aliens,” Snowden joked to the podcast’s host. “But the idea that we’re hiding them — if we are hiding them — I had ridiculous access to the networks of the NSA, the CIA, the military, all these groups. I couldn’t find anything,” he continued.
“So if it’s hidden, and it could be hidden, it’s hidden really damn well, even from people who are on the inside,” Snowden said.
If the US government was keeping secrets about aliens and UFOs in Area 51, surely Snowden would have been the one to find out, the CNN reports arguing that the former NSA employee should elaborate on why people on the Internet are so keen to believe in conspiracy theories?
“Everybody wants to believe in conspiracy theories because it helps life make sense,” he said on the podcast. “It helps us believe that somebody is in control, that somebody is calling the shots.”
