7. See the Penguins at Boulders Beach
Boulders Beach is known to be a family beach, although it is rather a small beach and if you want to make sure you get a place, you have to get there early. Boulders Beach is known for the penguins that swim amongst visitors although they are not tame so its advisable not to venture too close to them.
8. Visit the Castle
The Castle of Good Hope in Cape Town built between 1666 and 1679 is one of the landmarks many are familiar with. During the week they have time slots for a tour through this historical castle where you will learn about the country’s fascinating but difficult military history. There is a museum at the Castle that is well worth visiting. The Slave Lodge not far from the Castle is also well worth a visit.
9. Have a Picnic at Kirstenbosch Gardens
Kirstenbosch Gardens is a beautiful botanical garden with lush green lawns, giant sized
trees, flowers of every colour, nestled at the foot of Table Mountain on the Eastern side.
