Creating Design AND Choosing THE Correct Specialist
There are four various kinds of Architectural designers to select from: Architects, Architectural Technologists, Technicians, and General Designers. Despite the significance of experience, education, and training, not all architectural designers are made equal. Personality, design style, type of work, services provided, and whether you need a generalist or a specialist to work with all play a role in finding the perfect architectural designer for you.
WHAT IS THE DISTINCTION?
A great designer, in my perspective, can listen, understand, and solve problems while also having a good idea of what is doable and reasonable. Someone who has completed previous works of a similar sort, is aware about potential problems, and has done previous projects of a similar nature. Someone who can put your thoughts down and coordinate the entire design from start to end. It is essential that the design output be of high quality and accuracy in order to communicate effectively your ideas to others involved in the design and construction process. The abundance of data, as well as its quality and reliability, changes from one designer to the next. Some designers provide only the most basic information, while others spend more time and effort to provides a more comprehensive, well-thought-out, and very well quantity of data.

Technologists can work alone or in groups with other Architects or Technologists. A technologists main skill set is more inclined toward project science and building, and they often cooperate with Architects on projects.

Specialists
Technicians can be anyone working with or aspiring to be an architect or technologist. Ability, experience, qualification, and skills of technicians vary, and they often work on projects under the supervision of a trained Architect or Technologist. Many technicians offer design services from Work Stage 1 through Work Stage 5 for others and for themselves. There are some outstanding technicians active in the sector who, for whatever reason, have not pursued further education.
DESIGNERS IN GENERAL
General Designers are those who, although without a formal schooling, are able to generate design solutions and services. They have gained their knowledge via life and job experience. Many people work for themselves or in organizations, and they work on a variety of tasks. Those who work for themselves are more likely to work on basic residential projects.
Conclusions
Before you do anything else on your project, the single most important decision you will make is who to hire. Each of the above-mentioned sorts of designers will have an own style, personality, and process and procedure. They will most likely operate with a variety of price structures, such as an hourly rate, a fixed fee, or a percentage of the construction costs.
