(Newswire.net — March 6, 2023) — Pipe relining is a method of repairing damaged or deteriorating pipes without the need for extensive excavation. It involves inserting a new liner into the existing pipe, which is then cured in place to create a new pipe within the old one. Very similar concept to a “heart stent”.

The process typically begins with a thorough inspection of the pipe using a camera and an Electronic Locator to identify the location and extent of the damage. The damaged section of the pipe is then cleaned with a High-Pressure Water Jet and prepared for the liner to be installed.

The liner is typically made from a flexible material such as epoxy resin, which is inserted into the damaged section of the pipe using a special inversion drum or bladder. The liner is then inflated, causing it to conform to the shape of the existing pipe.

UV light is then used to activate the curing process, which causes the liner to harden and bond to the inside of the existing pipe. The result is a new, seamless pipe within the old one, which is strong, durable, and resistant to corrosion and leaks.

Once in place, the liner is cured and UV light to create a new, seamless pipe within the old one and has a 60-year warranty. The pipe is just as strong and long-lasting as PVC.

Pipe relining is often used to repair damaged sewer or stormwater pipes, as well as underground pipes used for water supply, gas lines, and other applications. It is a cost-effective and efficient method of repairing pipes that would otherwise require excavation and replacement which is very labor-intensive.

UV Relining is the most recent way to Relining a pipe and not all plumbers can get off this. It is more efficient and therefore, requires less time on site, and less labor and it is for these reasons the Customer can save thousands.
