A Published Research Shows Tea Drinkers Live Longer

The other group was never or non-habitual tea drinkers (less than three times a week) and followed up for a median of 7.3 years. The researchers found an association between habitual tea intake and more healthy years of life and longer life expectancy.

For instance, the research estimated that habitual tea drinkers who were 50 year-olds are at heightened odds of developing coronary heart disease as well as stroke 1.41 years later. 

They are also found to live 1.26 years longer than those who never or seldom drank tea. They also had a 20 percent reduced risk of incident heart disease and stroke, and lowered risk of fatal heart disease and stroke by 22 percent.

The overall decreased risk of all-cause death was 15 percent.
