(Newswire.net — January 13, 2023) Orlando, FL — There are various factors found to influence the cardiovascular system, and this is why more and more experts are carrying out studies to look into ways to ward off heart disease.
One study was carried out and it was published in the American Journal of Physiology.
This research was carried out by scientists from the University of Alberta. It has been found that during heart failure, limiting the amount of fat from fat cells the body releases into the bloodstream could aid in enhancing outcomes for patients.
It involved mice with heart failure treated with a pharmaceutical drug, which worked in blocking the release of fat into the bloodstream from fat cells. The researchers found less inflammation not just in the heart, but throughout the body.
The mouse subjects also exhibited better outcomes compared to the control group.
“Many people believe that, by definition, heart failure is only a condition of the heart. But it’s much broader and multiple organs are affected by it,” said Jason Dyck.
Dyck is a professor of pediatrics in the Faculty of Medicine & Dentistry and director of the U of A’s Cardiovascular Research Centre.
He also holds the Canada Research Chair in Molecular Medicine and is a member of the Alberta Diabetes Institute and the Women and Children’s Health Research Institute.
“What we’ve shown in mice is that if you can target fat cells with a drug and limit their ability to release stored fat during heart failure, you can protect the heart and improve cardiac function,” he added.
It is worth noting that in times of stress, such as heart failure, the body automatically releases stress hormones like epinephrine and norepinephrine. This is in an effort to help the heart compensate. Unfortunately, the heart is unable to function any better and is highly susceptible to being further damaged by being forced to pump faster. This prompts the release of stress hormones, the process cascades, and the functions of the heart continue to decline.
There is a number of studies recommending some techniques to better take care of heart health. Nutrients like B vitamins could be an excellent choice for individuals who want to enhance their cardiovascular system.
They may be obtained from certain foods, but there are also supplements available. Formulas like Divine Bounty B Vitamin Complex may be an excellent source of these nutrients.
It contains Choline, Pantothenic acid, Biotin, Vitamin B12, Folic Acid, Niacin, Riboflavin, Thiamin, and vitamin B6 (www.amazon.com/dp/B07414752B).
