(Newswire.net — November 17, 2021) Orlando, FL — Worldwide, experts warn that there are about 1.13 billion sufferers of high blood pressure.

Today, one of the worldwide targets for non-communicable diseases is to lessen hypertension prevalence by 25 percent by 2025.

Many people who suffer from hypertension do not experience symptoms. This is exactly the reason why it is often called a silent killer. It may even take years for this condition to become severe enough to produce apparent symptoms.

When it gets severe, it leads to flushing, dizziness, shortness of breath, headaches, nosebleeds, visual changes, and blood in the urine.

It is important to realize that these are symptoms that require immediate medical intervention. This is due to the fact that when not addressed, it could turn fatal.

Today, scientists are increasingly investigating the impacts of food on hypertension. It is worth mentioning that some foods like kiwis are found helpful.

A study was carried out and published in the Journal of the American College of Nutrition.

It was also presented at the scientific meeting of the American Heart Association.

The researchers in this study had 118 men and women who were more than 55 years old as subjects. The participants had slightly high blood pressure and they were divided into a group that consumed kiwi or apple a day for eight weeks.

This interesting study has revealed that those who consumed kiwis had reduced systolic blood pressure over individuals who consumed apples.

According to the United States Department of Agriculture, kiwi fruits are one of the most antioxidant-rich fruits, along with grapes and wild blueberries. There are actually many health benefits linked with the intake of this food.

Further, there are also other therapeutic ingredients many scientists research to help combat high blood pressure. Probiotics are also found helpful and this is based on various research studies carried out by scientists.

According to a study that looked into data from nine studies, regular consumption of probiotics may help lower high blood pressure levels.

The findings of this research were published in the Hypertension journal.

The nine studies examined the associations between probiotic intake and blood pressure and involved a total number of 543 adults with either normal or elevated blood pressure. More specifically, those who consumed probiotics achieved an average decrease in systolic blood pressure (the top number in a reading) of about 3.6 millimeters of mercury (mm Hg).

They also had an average reduction in diastolic blood pressure (the bottom number) of about 2.4 mm Hg, than those who did not consume probiotics.

To benefit from the use of probiotics, it is wise to consider formulas like Divine Bounty Digestive Enzymes.
