The newly announced event offers participants a venue where they can learn about the latest advancements in drone technology and automated AI systems. It also gives them an opportunity to learn from authorities about the policies that can affect their drone businesses.
A number of speakers are expected to grace the online event, including experts from Parallel Flight Technologies, fire and rescue, and law enforcement agencies. Popular drone vlogger Ed Ricker will also make an appearance.
The event is free for all attendees, but the number of participants will be limited to 3,000. To be considered, one must register and confirm their attendance before April 23.
Attendees will have the opportunity to bring home one of two drones that will be given away. A randomly selected registrant will receive the first drone, while the other one will be raffled off.
A donation of $3 is required to join these giveaways. Registrants can donate in increments of $3 to up to $300 to increase their chances of winning.
In addition to having a shot at owning a new drone, the donation will give donors access to over three hours of seminar content, which will include exclusive interviews and conversations.
The event is hosted by QBS, a provider of a wide range of drone services for various entities, including commercial, public, and emergency services. According to the group, its mission with Discovering Aces is to offer a platform of “education, awareness, and possibility” for the thousands of stakeholders in the drone community.
The drone services industry is expected to experience double-digit growth in the next few years. MarketsandMarkets estimates that the industry will register a compound annual growth rate of 55.9% through to 2025, allowing it to reach a value of over $63.6 billion.
The market research firm stated that this growth will be fueled by several factors, including an increased demand for aerial photographic services in sectors like architecture, oil and gas, and infrastructure.
