Is scrapbooking one of your hobbies? Do you hate having to run to the store to purchase more stuff just to do another page or two? The thing you need to understand is that scrapbooking is more of an art than you might think. You have to master more than just what is on the paper. One of the major issues that people have with scrapbooking as their hobby is they don’t always have the room for the books and if that is the case then I highly recommend getting some digital scrapbooking software and if you do have the room then I might still suggest getting the software so that you don’t have to run to the store time and time again.
One of the things you must understand about scrapbooking is that it can get more and more pricey the longer you to it. One of the things that folks do and do not even think of is when they purchase gold flaked paper at more than $2 a sheet, the costs rack up very quickly. Just remember, scrapbooking is supposed to be a fun hobby, so make it just that.
Don’t get behind
The first tip that I have for you is to not get behind on your scrapbooking. One of the problems that people have whether they are backed up just a month or a few weeks is they try to speed through the entire process which makes everything look thrown together and sketchy. If this is your hobby and you really like to do it then I suggest taking your time no matter how far back you really are.
Use existing scrapbooks – Another tip that I have for you is to use an existing scrapbook as opposed to buying a new one. The way you do this is you might extend or add a second part to an already finished scrapbook which will just make it longer. What you do not want to do is take all the pages out of the older book and turn it into something else. Trust me, reusing the binders and folders when possible will make your life a whole lot easier.
Try digital scrapbooking – One thing that you should try is digital scrapbook programs because it really does more than you think. Most folks that try going digital say they really like it and why not, you don’t have a bunch of papers laying around, you can save projects and come back to them later, each scrapbook looks professionally done, and you can make more than one copy. If you have not tried it out yet then I might highly recommend it because it will be the it thing very soon. Just remember that if you don’t like it you can go right back to what you were doing.
In my opinion, the best scrapbook software is found at MyMemories.Com. These people have been in business for more than 12 years, and really seem to have the needs of scrapbookers figured out.
