(Newswire.net — March 12, 2018) — A new site has been launched focusing on great sport, highlighting photography for sports clubs in Coventry and Warwickshire. Olena Tanner Photography aims to capture highlight images of the sports clubs as well as other information on the clubs and teams in order to build a large photography portfolio featuring sports clubs around Coventry and Warwickshire. The site is ideal for anybody that likes photography, and anyone that is interested in sport, in particular sports based in Coventry and Warwickshire.
More information can be found at http://olenatannerphotography.com.
Olena Tanner Photography is a dedicated sports photographer who, following the 2018 winter olypmics in PyeongChang, as well as the BBC’s Get Inspired campaign, decided to create a portal and directory of sports clubs in the Coventry and Warwickshire areas.
This portal will serve as a highlight reel for the clubs and teams around these areas, highlighting images of the sports clubs themselves as well as the sports in action, along with other information on the clubs such as links to their websites in order to provide people with more information who may want to join the club or just know more about the club itself.
Olena Tanner is the owner of the site, and created it not just to serve as a site for lovers of sport and photography, but also to support the coursework portfolio of Olena who is studying at Warwickshire College. Visitors to the site will find that Olena is undertaking a three year degree course in photography with the aims of eventually becoming a sports photographer.
This means that not only does it serve as coursework, as well as a photography and sports lovers site, it also serves as a one stop shop for people that are looking to try out a new sporting activity in these areas, from archery to underwater polo.
The BBC Get Inspired Campaign was created to help encourage more people to take up sport and sport related activities across the country. It offers a range of films, features, guides and links to help inspire sporting action in the UK.
