With this permanent makeup course, students gain the competence to succeed in the industry and build a thriving career as a permanent make up artist! Most importantly, students receive a completion certification at the end of the program that allows them to legally practice in the state. This is a mandatory requirement for the state of New Jersey, however it is highly recommended that any aspiring permanent makeup artist from any state takes this course to ensure their foundational skills are of the highest caliber.
As part of the 6-day intensive course, students will learn color theory and skin anatomy to give their clients the best options for their faces. With the various techniques, graduates of the program will be able to provide customized packages to their customers so that each person receives the look they want. The course also includes proper before care and after care procedures, what contraindications are so they can be educated as well as hands-on practice with live modes.
Esther explains that becoming a permanent make up artist in New Jersey is an opportunity for people to become entrepreneurs, work at their own pace while improving their revenue. She talks from experience: Esther has many years working in the spa industry and realized she would have to create her own brand in order to achieve her own standards for her clients.
With her new 100-hour fundamental course, students will receive a starter kit, lessons on marketing 101, work on live models, and hands-on training in eyebrow, eyeliner, and lip tattoos.
The permanent makeup course follows the guidelines to be accredited by the AAM. It can be taken by both experienced and beginner artists, with lifetime support provided.
All graduates of the program can attend a refresher course after a few months at no additional cost.
Esther says, “Our mission at Hudson Beauty Bar is not only to help people feel better about themselves but also to help anyone who wants to change their lives by giving them the skills to pursue a new career they will love.”
