(Newswire.net — August 12, 2020) Orlando, FL — Chronic ailments like diabetes continue to affect more and more people today. It is worth being warned that this condition is not just highly prevalent, but also incurable.

A new Harris Interactive/HealthDay poll suggests that a staggering one in eight Americans has been diagnosed with type 2 diabetes.

Over one third of the respondents have been found to be diagnosed with diabetes, or have a parent, sibling, spouse or child with the condition.

According to Harris Poll Chairman Humphrey Taylor, type 2 diabetes has become one of the most common and fastest growing diseases.

“Fully one in eight adults — approximately 29 million people — now report that they have been diagnosed with this dangerous condition,” he added.

Experts have long been warning against this condition, as it is not just incurable but it can also lead to complications when poorly managed.

Dr. Ronald Tamler, clinical director of the Mount Sinai Diabetes Center in New York City, says that diabetes is very insidious.

“You don’t know you’re in trouble until the complications hit or until it’s so out of control you have uncontrolled urination and thirst — two of the common symptoms of diabetes,” he added.

Unfortunately today, there are many with this condition who are left undiagnosed and untreated.

Experts have long been stressing the importance of taking the measures scientifically proven helpful in warding off diabetes.

It is worth realizing that some good bacteria like probiotics have been found beneficial against this health issue. Experts say that probiotics have actually been able to demonstrate their abilities to ward off a whole host of medical issues.

A study was presented at the American Heart Association’s Scientific Sessions.

The investigators tracked 80 subjects who followed either the DASH diet, which is for hypertension and DASH plus probiotic-rich foods.

It is worth mentioning that of these subjects, 15 percent had prediabetes. After three months, it has been found that the group following the DASH diet with probiotics experienced a reduction in their AIC by 8.9 percent.

The investigators reveal that the DASH diet-only group only achieved 3.4 percent reduction.

It is also worth noting that some other studies reveal probiotics aid in lowering glucose as well as insulin levels. Growing evidence suggest that probiotics are not only helpful in reducing blood sugar levels, but also supporting various aspects of health.

Today, there are many researchers who recommend their increased intake via supplementation. One of the best supplements to consider using is Divine Bounty Digestive Enzymes, which has been reputed to be superior over other brands.
