A recent article posted on Fun Games Blog reports on the widely criticized coach-quarterback relaionship of Blaine-Tucker. Editors of the website say that the site’s latest article gives readers insight into two hotly debated NFL careers.
“Blaine was the number ten draft pick in 2011,” says Kenneth Price, an editor of Fun Games Blog, “Unfortunately for Blaine and the Jacksonville Jaguars, he has not performed as well as expected as a professional quarterback. No one knows for sure if Blaine is just not adjusting well to the level of play in the NFL, or if he was over-rated as a college quarterback, but coach Tucker insists that Blaine still has what it takes.”
Fun Games Blog has reported on professional sports news in the past, but the most recent article about Blaine-Tucker came about after Fun Games Blog staff decided that the site should expand it’s coverage in order to appeal to a wider audience.
“There is a large audience for game related news and information,” says Fun Games Blog writer Kenneth Price, “But the number of people devotedly interested in games is not nearly as large as the audience for professional sports news. We’re hoping that our latest article on Blaine-Tucker sets the pace for our contributors to turn write articles with more mainstream appeal.”
Staff of the site say that they will not turn their backs on games related news in anyway. The change, editors maintain, is not a shift in focus away from the games and entertainment news that the site was founded on, but is the incorporation of an additional focus that will compliment the existing fun and games content.
“We will still publish just as many stories about general recreation and games,” says Kenneth Price, “We appreciate our current readers and want to continue delivering the value that they expect. We hope that our current readership will appreciate the additional stories about professional sports, and we hope that the new readers we attract will enjoy the information about games and recreation.”
