(Newswire.net — March 2, 2015) Lumberton, North Carolina — Jason Crabb singing “Glory to His Name” got the Kingdom Place members and guests jump-started Sunday morning in Lumberton, North Carolina.
With a Grammy Award, 21 GMA Dove Awards, a recent GMA Dove Award for “Artist of the Year” and “Male Vocalist of the Year”, Crabb has plenty to sing and shout about as far as his fans are concerned. His latest cd release “Love is Stronger” does not fail to deliver the message of his faith in Jesus Christ.
Crabb sang some of his followers’ favorite recordings from his personal repertoire and the Crabb family greats including “Sometimes I Cry”. Hearts were touched as he included the old time favorite gospel song “I’d Rather Have Jesus”.
In addition, Crabb shared fond remembrances of his beloved Grandmother who recently passed away. He talked reverently about her humble life in Kentucky and the extraordinary faith based “gentle strength” she shared with him. He humorously recalled and demonstrated the way she worshipped in church doing the “bobbe pin shake-down.” This admission coupled with Crabb’s hysterical rendition of his Grandmother’s “moves” caused the entire Kingdom Place congregation to erupt with gales of laughter.
Heart’s further melted when he called his sweet young daughter Emma to the stage to sing as he accompanied her. In spite of her youth, Emma’s strong voice demonstrated that the “apple doesn’t fall far from the tree.”
Yes, indeed, it was a superb day at Kingdom Place where the extraordinary talent of Jason Crabb and his musical team filled the room with uplifting songs and messages of joy and faith. Crabb’s delightful vocals are only superceded by his extraordinary commitment to his faith, his family and his fans.
Kingdom Place Ministry, pastored by the inimitable Reverend Gary Strickland, is a faith-filled, bible believing church that also happens to attract some of the best Christian recording artists in the gospel industry. Members and visitors alike are always given a heart-warming welcome by Pastor Strickland and an invitation to participate in the living gospel of Jesus Christ.
