(Newswire.net — October 15, 2019) Orlando, FL — Health organizations have long been warning consumers against the factors that significantly contribute to stroke. This condition can have life-changing consequences, but may be preventable.

The Stroke: Journal of the American Heart Association published a study.

In this research, the scientists found that women who walked two or more hours every week had a significantly reduced risk of stroke, than women who were not engaged in physical activities.

The same is true to those who walked at brisk pace, 3 miles per hour or even faster. It is also worth mentioning that the risks reduced for clot-related stroke, total stroke, and bleeding or hemorrhagic stroke.

The reduced risk was by 30 percent for any type of stroke. Those who walked at a brisk pace even achieved 68 percent reduction in the risk of hemorrhagic stroke.

Further, participants who walked two hours and over had a lowered risk of hemorrhagic stroke by 57 percent.

Jacob R. Sattelmair, M.Sc., says that physical activity is an essential modifiable behavior in the prevention of stroke. Regular walking is primarily included in physical activity.

Sattelmair is the lead author and doctoral candidate in epidemiology at Harvard School of Public Health in Boston, Mass.

In the United States, stroke is the third top cause of death and is even the leading cause of serious disability.

Experts stress the importance of resorting to measures that could significantly help prevent it.

The American Heart Associated recommends a minimum of 150 minutes of moderate-intensity or vigorous-intensity aerobic physical activity per week. This has been found to offer substantial health benefits.

In addition to exercise, certain natural remedies are found helpful against stroke. One is resveratrol, which has been discovered to reduce the likelihood of stroke.

In a conference at the Society for Neuroscience in Atlanta, a recent study was revealed about resveratrol.

It was found that resveratrol offers direct protection against stroke and even impacts brain functions. In previous research, it has even been found that it is a huge factor in aiding in brain control and regulating blood sugar.

According to researchers, resveratrol was able to increase the levels of heme oxygen. This enzyme offers protection against brain cell damage, and against free radical damage.

To sum it all up, resveratrol has a great potential to trigger the process that reduces the risk of stroke.

There are actually many health benefits linked with the use of resveratrol. This is why there are people who turn to formulas like Divine Bounty Resveratrol for preventive health purposes.
