MARCH Marketing Acquires Student Social Networking Platform in Merger with FLXR

(Newswire.net — May 31, 2017) — Chicago  — MARCH Marketing LLC and FLXR Industries, leading providers of recruitment marketing solutions, today announced the merger of the two companies creating a leading company in military recruitment.

MARCH Marketing has acquired FLXR in a transaction. FLXR is recognized for its student social networking platform, FLXR.me, an on-line tool that gives students and parents needed guidance on how to navigate the college admissions process.

Devised as kind of LinkedIn for high school students and college admissions, the proprietary FLXR platform allows a student to create a living profile, by storing and presenting information that can differentiate them from other applicants – capturing academic highlights, volunteer hours, sports videos, artwork images, performances, extracurricular activities, personal interviews and recommendation. It also provides a place for high school and college can network with colleges, universities and future employers.  

The combined company will be privately held and operate under the MARCH Marketing brand. Tom Aiello, MARCH’s founder and president, is the CEO of the new combined company. Pete Ashey, CEO of FLXR, will become a Vice President and lead efforts to bring FLXR to MARCH clients.
