New Research Reveals the Biggest Falls in Sexual Activity in Britain

In this research, the investigators found that fewer than half of British men and women between the ages 16 and 44 have sex at least once a week. This has been found to be one of the biggest falls in sexual activity among individuals over the age of 25 years and married or cohabiting couples.

The researchers looked into data involving over 34,000 men and women aged 16 to 44 years in three successive waves of the British National Survey of Sexual Attitudes and Lifestyles.

They aimed at measuring the changes in the actual and preferred frequency of sex, as well as the factors linked with sexual activity.
