(Newswire.net — May 6, 2019) Orlando, FL — Antibiotics are widely used in cases of urinary tract infections. This type of medication may be helpful, but is notoriously known to cause some side effects.

A study was published in the Journal of Bacteriology, which is a publication of the American Society for Microbiology.

In this study, scientists found that phages, which are viruses that infect bacteria, and found in the female bladder. Phage has been recommended to be an alternative treatment in cases when antibiotics have become resistant to pathogenic bacteria.

Catherine Putonti, PhD, Associate Professor of Bioinformatics, Loyola University, Chicago, corresponding author, said that for decades in eastern European countries, phage have been used as an alternative to antibiotics.

It is particularly used in the treatment of urinary tract infections. The study involved 182 bacterial genomes obtained from the female urinary microbiome.

It has been found that lysogenic phages are abundantly found within the bacteria of the bladder. Lysogenic phages pertain to phages that insert their DNA into the genomes of their hosts.

The scientists found a total of 457 mostly novel phage sequences in the urinary microbiome. The lead author suggests that there may be a common set of phages in the bladder, particularly in the female bladder.

The investigators suggested that there was a variation in the abundance of phages taken from healthy bladders, and those isolated from women with symptoms of urinary tract infections. They have suggested that phage may contribute to urinary health.

More and more health experts have been suggesting that consumers should take all the measures helpful in warding off urinary tract infections. It can be made in many ways like drinking lots of water and avoiding intake of sugar and some other foods that increase pH levels.

It may also be best to take into account the use of D-mannose, which is a healthy sugar found in cranberry. The thing about D-mannose is that it binds with the UTI-causing, E.coli bacteria.

This sugar is not harmful as other types of sugar. UTI-causing E.coli bacteria binds with it instead of sticking to the cells lining the urinary tract. Once bacteria sticks to D-mannose, it is eliminated from the body and prevented from producing infection.

Preliminary clinical trials show that D-mannose may be used as preventive measure and treatment of urinary tract infections. This sugar is even widely thought to be a safer alternative to antibiotics, which can cause side effects.

Divine Bounty D-mannose may be a great formula to use for those who want to protect their urinary tract. It is popularized widely by the amazing results it offers. It is highly potent and pure, and is protected with a money back guarantee (http://www.amazon.com/D-Mannose-600mg-Cranberry-Dandelion-Extract/dp/B01LX5KGF0).
