The children portrait photography sessions will be offered from April 5, 2021 to April 17, 2021 in any of these locations: Branch Brook Park, Newark, NJ, Yantakaw Park, Nutley, NJ, and Verona Park, Verona, NJ. Clients need to register in advance and deposit a confirmation fee to secure a time slot.

Cherry blossoms have a special meaning for people around the world. Blossoming only in Spring and for a short time, people associate cherry blossoms with appreciating life while it lasts. After a long winter indoors and apart, families, companies, and even individuals look to the cherry blossoms as a way to remind themselves of the beauty of time and to grasp opportunities as they happen. This is especially true this past year surviving the one year anniversary of the coronavirus pandemic, with many families limiting visits due to social distancing measures.

Village Studio offers its limited-time event to help families capture memories under the backdrop of pink Sakura flowers. Clients can choose which of the three locations in New Jersey they would prefer to have their photos taken in and select from morning, afternoon or limited “Sunset” sessions. With the freedom to choose how they want their photos to appear, they can choose their outfits or opt for complimentary outfit styling. Professional makeup artists are also a service option offered by the studio “to ensure your most beautiful photographs”.

To keep with the message of rebirth and cherishing life, Jennifer Bladel, owner and primary photographer of Village Studio, recommends that children take the spotlight in the cherry blossom photos. “This strengthens the meaning of the photo and gives a unique memory for parents,” says Jennifer.

Children are also encouraged to bring a special toy to make the photos more personal.

All Village Studio sessions follow CDC guidelines for safety and allow for 6 feet of shooting distance between photographer and client. Photographers wear a mask and gloves the entire time during the photo shoot and helping pose from a safe distance for maximum safety. Review of images takes place via web conference, ensuring safety and flexibility for all. In addition to their personalized session, clients get to choose from an assortment of a-la-carte fine art photo products for their home as Wall Art and packages that include press printed cards and digital options, with savings when pre-ordered.

When asked about the event, Village Studio says, “We’ve been photographing with the gorgeous blossoms for six years now. It is always an uplifting and hopeful time to see everything come to bloom for the Spring, but especially this year coming out safely from what feels like a one year quarantine. We’ve seen a marked increase in calls for family sessions, and it’s no wonder. The sun is coming out and we all want to celebrate the end of a dark time in gratitude for what we have and who cherish most: each other.”
