(Newswire.net — April 9, 2013) Tampa, Fl — The luxury of installing a home theater system is becoming more and more popular amongst the masses as technological advances are enabling the affordability factor to reach a much wider audience.  As with all industries involving technology, higher volume output attains lower pricing meaning greater demand from the consumers.

What are the issues however for the prospective buyers to be aware when contemplating a home theater system and installation?  With so much involved from all the various nuances and functionality to the mini or maxi contractor issues that impact the entire house, there certainly is much to consider.  Many home theater installation companies today are still ill equipped to properly handle the customers regarding efficiency and safety.

As with many sectors of industries, certifications are required to raise the bar for “mom and pops” that are hanging the shingle to grab a piece of the technological market.  These certifications are no small matter, requiring hours of studying and comprehension with an examination agenda requiring an engineering and finance background.

With so much at stake between the most valuable asset in most people’s lives, their home, and a fairly substantial expenditure for audio video systems, should there be any question as to whether or not a certified and fully qualified company should be used?  Sound and Vision Design of Tampa, Florida, discusses some of the cogent issues that the industry wrestles with today and how they have addressed improving the plight of the consumer/ homeowner that must carefully weigh their options.

“Low Voltage Permits” for example are now mandatory by many counties in the State of Florida for renovations and new construction homes.  Perhaps what we do not know won’t hurt us?  Not true retorts the oversight governance bodies that are seeking to protect the consumer and their over all safety and well being.   There are still companies that must curry favors from their local electrician who may or may not pull their low voltage permits for them.

Sound and Vision has an affiliation as a dealer with Crestron, one of the audio visual industry leaders for control and automation systems.  (Crestron is credited with installing and designing major systems for educational and corporate facilities including the World Bank.)  As a Tampa based business, they maintain their continuing education credits in order to stay current with any changes and issues that may affect prospective or prior customers.  Contact them for more information regarding their certification and expertise in any matters on home theater, digital signage, design, and/ or installations.
