(Newswire.net — September 17, 2014)  — Toy deals are always one of the big holiday attractions and a top Black Friday purchase and last year proved to be the biggest offering yet. There were more than 5,300 advertised Black Friday toy deals (4,500 in 2013) and 2,700 deals less than $20 (866 in 2013). With an ever increasing number of models, playsets and bundles, consumers saw more choices emerge from some of the bigger branded toys like Skylanders, LEGO, Mega Bloks, Monster High and Hot Wheels. The result produced some of best toy discounting ever, especially on older toys and board games.

This year’s crop of new toys born from blockbuster kid’s movies and video games like LEGO, Disney’s Frozen, Transformers and Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles dominate FatWallet.com Black Friday PREDICTIONS for the hot toy deals. Black Friday LEGO deals and Disney Frozen deals, alone, will be overwhelming for parents to sort through. Expect deep discounts up to 40% off top branded toys from Mattel, Fisher Price, Vtech and Hasbro as bigbox stores like Walmart, Target and Toy R Us compete for holiday gift seekers. They’ll also see deep clearance pricing on last year’s best toys like the Furby Boom, Razor scooters, Skylander Starter packs, Nerf Hail Fire and Doc McStuffins playsets. New children’s tablets will be very affordable as the new LeapFrog LeapPad3 lowers under $100 leaving the LeapPad2 available for under $40.
