"At first, I could not believe it. The second time I thought God is on my side", she said to Newsday, when she won the lottery prize again.
Valerie, then 68 years old, worked in a restaurant where she used to make sandwiches. The lucky woman used her first million to help her three children buy their homes. "Second $1 million will be for me", she added. "I'm going to live a little."
The chances of winning the first prize in the $5 lottery game are 1 in 5 million, and 1 in 700,000 in the $30 lottery game.
